RegeneRx is focused on the discovery and development of novel peptides to accelerate tissue and organ repair. Currently, RegeneRx is developing three product candidates, RGN-137, RGN-259 and RGN-352 for dermal, ophthalmic, and cardiovascular tissue repair, respectively. These product candidates are based on TB4, a synthetic copy of a 43-amino acid, naturally occurring peptide, in part, under an exclusive world-wide license from the National Institutes of Health. RegeneRx holds over 60 world-wide patents and patent applications related to novel peptides. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical development for dermal and ophthalmic wound healing and has now completed a Phase 1 clinical trial supporting delivery of RGN-352 for acute cardiovascular and other indications requiring systemic administration. RegeneRx is also developing novel peptides for the cosmeceutical industry based on its experience with TB4 and its biological activities in the skin.

PolyMedix, Inc. is an emerging biotechnology company focused on developing new therapeutic drugs to treat infectious diseases and acute cardiovascular disorders.

PolyMedix is focused on the development of novel drugs and biomaterials for the treatment of infectious diseases and acute cardiovascular disorders. PolyMedix’s compounds are based on biomimetics: non-peptide small molecule drugs that mimic the activity of proteins. The Company’s antibiotic compounds are small molecule mimetics of human host-defense proteins and believed to have a completely different mechanism of action from all current antibiotic drugs. A mechanism which is intended to make bacterial resistance unlikely to develop. These compounds are being developed as broad spectrum, rapid-acting antibiotics for serious systemic and local infections. The Company is also developing polymeric formulations as antimicrobial biomaterials, which can be used as additives to paints, plastics, and textiles to create self-sterilizing products and surfaces. The Company’s anticoagulant antagonist compounds reverse the activity of both heparin and low molecular weight heparins, in keeping with its goal of developing an antagonist drug that is safer and easier to use than current approved therapy.

The Company’s leading therapy, Tovaxin®, is an individualized cellular immunotherapy treatment in Phase IIb clinical development for multiple sclerosis (MS). Tovaxin is derived from T-cells isolated from peripheral blood, expanded ex vivo, and reintroduced into the patients via subcutaneous injections. This process triggers a potent immune response against specific subsets of autoreactive T-cells known to attack myelin and, thereby, reduces the risk of relapse over time.

Cardiovascular Systems Inc. (CSI) is comprised of a highly experienced, uniquely qualified team of experts experienced in the assessment, development and commercialization of medical devices for treating peripheral arterial disease.

Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., based in St. Paul, Minn., is a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing interventional treatment systems for vascular disease. The company’s Diamondback 360(R) PAD System treats calcified and fibrotic plaque in arterial vessels throughout the leg in a few minutes of treatment time, and addresses many of the limitations associated with existing surgical, catheter and pharmacological treatment alternatives. As many as 12 million Americans suffer from peripheral arterial disease (PAD), which is caused by the accumulation of plaque in peripheral arteries (commonly the pelvis or leg) reducing blood flow. Symptoms include leg pain when walking or at rest, and can lead to tissue loss and eventually limb amputation. In August 2007, the U.S. FDA granted 510(k) clearance for the use of the Diamondback 360
